A Ordem dos Engenheiros Técnicos (OET) associa-se ao Women in Engineering Day 2025 porque acredita profundamente no valor da diversidade, da igualdade de oportunidades e da representatividade na Engenharia.

Porquê este dia? Porque a Engenharia precisa de todas as perspectivas. Com esta associação pretendemos celebrar, inspirar e abrir caminho para uma engenharia mais diversa e inclusiva.

Apesar dos progressos, as mulheres continuam a ser uma minoria na Engenharia. É hora de dar visibilidade às que constroem, inovam e lideram — e de inspirar as que ainda estão a dar os primeiros passos.

Vamos mostrar, juntos, que a Engenharia também se constrói com igualdade, talento e visão de futuro.

Ordem dos Engenheiros Técnicos (OET - Portugal) is joining Women in Engineering Day 2025 because it believes deeply in the value of diversity, equal opportunities and representation in engineering.

Why this day? Because engineering needs all perspectives. With this, we aim to celebrate, inspire and pave the way for a more diverse and inclusive engineering.

Despite progress, women continue to be a minority in engineering. It is time to give visibility to those who build, innovate and lead — and to inspire those who are given their first steps in this journey.

Let us show, together, that engineering is also built on equality, talent and vision for the future.
